Double Wing Eyeliner

Keep up with the make up trend and try out this double winged look! I know it may look complicated but I promise it's pretty easy. This look is a fun way to spice up a smokey eye or even a great way to turn a day time look into a night time look by adding the second wing. I've seen a so many celebrities rocking this make up look including Kim Kardashian. Follow the steps below to get this look or check out this video!

1. Apply a moisturizer all over your face and neck to keep your skin hydrated and prep for foundation.
2. Apply and blend out your foundation. I used MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NW25 with my Sigma Flat Kabuki F-80. I personally think MAC Foundation can get pretty cakey or not sit right on my skin so my trick is to dab the the foundation into my skin and then buff it through out my face. (Don't forget your neck) Take your time when applying your foundation!
3. Next apply your concealer in an triangular motion bringing the product from my tear duct down the sides of my nose and then back up towards my temples. Applying your concealer this way will give you a really lifted look. (Don't forget to put concealer on your eye lids this will prime your eyes and keep shadow on longer). I blended out MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NW20 with my fingers and then finished blending with a damp Beauty Blender.
4. Next I applied a light brown transition in my crease with my absolute favorite brush the Sigma Tapered Blending E40. Remember when you are building color on your eye start with light colors, blend until there are no harsh lines, and then repeat with darker colors. Take your time and blend in windshield wiper motions.
5. Apply any gold color to the lid. I chose Bad to the Bronze Color Tattoo by Maybelline. I applied this with my fingers because I felt it was the best applicator for the cream shadow. Apply this all over the lid.
6. I wanted to darker the outer corner of my eye so I took a dark brown Lancome Color with a Sigma Medium Angled Shading E-70 brush. I used a discontinued Lancome eyeshadow but something similar would be the Lancome Brown color Extreme Expresso. The brush I used makes darkening up the outer corner super easy because of its angles shape. Just draw a side ways V on the outer corner and blend it out in the next step.
7.  To blend out the outer corner I used a medium dark shade (Second row Second color in) from the Maybelline Nudes Palatte. Take your time and make sure there are no harsh lines with the shadow.
8. Take any make up remover wipe or some make up remover on a cotton pad and wipe from the outer part of your lash line on an angle towards your temple. Doing this will sharpen up the outer part of the eye and will give you a line so you can apple your liner perfectly.
9. Take any black gel liner and an eyeliner brush and apply the top wing. You want the wing to be visible but keep it pretty thin so you are able to see the shadows.
10. If you are comfortable with it, fill in your brows. I am using Anastasia Brow Wiz in Soft Brown.
11. Next up, highlight your brow bone. I used MAC Mylar
12. Go back in with a light brown shade in case your highlight color fell down and to give your smokey eye one last blend.
13. Take a white or nude eyeliner pencil and apply it to your water line. I used Wet'N'Wild Calling your Bluff. Take a white eyeshadow, I used Mac Mylar again, on a clean eyeliner brush and trace right under the black line that we created before. I also applied a little shadow to my water line to set the eyeliner and to make the white even more pigmented.
14. Next take the same black gel liner and trace a line under the white line we created. You want this line to be a little to be adjacent with the black line we created in the beginning. It is okay if you mess up because you can always take a make up wipe and sharpen up your line! Trace the bottom line from the end of the first line straight to you eyelash line.
15. Go over the white line again to make sure it really pops.
16. Blend out the bottom gel liner using the same steps we used to the smoke out the eyeshadow on the lid. Start with a light brown color on a pencil brush and blend so the liner has no harsh lines. Follow this up with a darker brown color.
17. Fix up any parts of the wing that may not be sharp. I went back in with Mylar and a black liquid eyeliner by Stila just to make sure it was perfect.
18. You will really see the look come together with this step. Apply coats of your favorite shadow or apply a set of falsies.
19. Back onto finishing the face. Time to highlight! I used Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in Light to highlight under my eyes, down my nose, my chin, and the middle of my forward. I used a Sigma Tapered Kabuki F-86 to blend out the highlight. I set this with Anastasia Beverly Hills Banana Shade from her Contour Kit.
20. To contour I used the same Contour Kit and used the middle brown shade on an Elf Small Stipple Brush to contour my cheeks, forehead, jawline, and nose. To darken it up a little I went over my contour with with Too Face Chocolate Soleil Bronzer.
21. I applied MAC Dainty blush on my cheeks
22. I lined and filled my lips in with NYK Natural Lip Liner.
23. To finish the look off I took the white color we used to make our wings and applied it to the inner corner of my eyes to really open them up.

And that's it your done.

Until Next Time,
Cassie
